This is an expansion from the Black & White era, released in 2012 exclusively in Japan alongside Spiral Force. It features the Legendary Pokémon Thundurus as its cover mascot and includes powerful cards such as Thundurus-EX, Deoxys-EX, and Latias-EX, along with shiny secret rares like Empoleon and Max Potion. Thunder Knuckle was paired with Spiral Force to form a dual release, which together became the English set Plasma Freeze in 2013.
