Heavy Pack Policy
A Heavy Pack is defined as a booster pack that is expected to contain a holographic card or better.* While pack weighing is an established method, it is not an exact science, and on rare occasions a pack believed to be heavy may not contain a holographic card.
To protect our customers, all Heavy Packs purchased directly from Loose Packs Trading Co. are covered by our Heavy Pack Guarantee. Each Heavy Pack is tamper-sealed with a custom Loose Packs Trading Co. security seal at the time of sale.
If you intend to open a Heavy Pack, you must record the opening process from start to finish. The video must clearly show the intact tamper seal prior to being broken, and the pack must be opened in one continuous, uninterrupted recording. Failure to meet these requirements may void the guarantee.
If a properly documented Heavy Pack does not contain a holographic card, the purchaser will be eligible for one of the following remedies:
-
A replacement pack of equal value to the amount paid
-
A full refund of the purchase price
-
Store credit equal to the amount paid
There is no time limit on the Heavy Pack Guarantee. Packs do not need to be opened immediately, provided all conditions outlined above are met at the time of opening.
In the event that the market value of the pack has increased significantly between the date of purchase and the date of opening, any refund issued will be limited to the original purchase price paid. In such cases, replacement packs will not be offered.
*For sets that include card rarities higher than standard holographic, such packs are still classified as “Heavy,” even if they do not contain a traditional holographic card. Examples include, but are not limited to: Shinings, EX cards, Gold Stars, Lv. X, and Secret Rares.
