Challenge from the Darkness is the second expansion of the Japanese Gym series, released in 1998. It features Pokemon owned by Kanto Gym Leaders including Sabrina, Koga, and Blaine, as well as Giovanni of Team Rocket, and its cards later reached English players primarily through the Gym Challenge set of 2000.
