Japanese Expedition Booster Box

This is the Japanese Base Expansion Pack, the first set of the e-Card series, released in Japan in 2001. Its cards carry dot codes along the borders that could be scanned with the Nintendo e-Reader accessory.

The set was localized into English as the Expedition Base Set in 2002, making this Japanese booster box the earlier printing of that era.
